The first annual ISCe
Conference was held at the Long Beach Convention
Center. Opening Ceremony and keynote address was
presented by Dean Olmstead. There were over 350
attendees at this first time event. The highlight
of the conference was the "General Richard E.
Webber Luncheon", which featured keynote speaker
Brigadier General Richard E. Webber. General
Webbers' topic was "The Increasing Role of
Satellites in the Electronic Battlefield". Opening
and closing remarks were by Andrea Seastrand,
Executive V.P., of the California Space Authority.
General Webber also spoke of the star highway which
is a futuristic satellite program of the universe.
It was a sell-out luncheon. Webber gave much
insight into the planning of our future here on
earth, along with the current economic crisis. -----Special thanks for the fine treatment of TVI/look Radio.
